Polo Circol-Abile

In 2019, Loro Piana launched Polo Circol-Abile, an artisan hub at its Borgosesia plant. This initiative focuses on environmental sustainability by regenerating waste and obsolete products. Simultaneously, it champions social inclusion by employing individuals with cognitive disabilities, collaborating with Cooperativa Orso Blu and Piedmont’s Employment Centers. Currently, nine workers with cognitive disabilities and two coordinators repurpose surplus materials. Polo Circol-Abile exemplifies Loro Piana’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and the Circular Economy, emphasising craftsmanship and local community impact.
